Tips To Enjoy Orlando On A Budget

Orlando, Fl is one of the tourist destination hotspots, not only in the United States, but for travellers from around the world (especially UK). When deciding to take a vacation to Orlando, the major tourist destinations are the Theme Parks like: Magic Kingdom, Universal, Busch Gardens (Tampa), and other water parks in the area. However, many people come to the city for shopping destinations, and the surplus of outlet malls in the area, which sell designer brand clothing for deep discounts if you know the right places to go.

First off, when on a budget, the best way to save money on the theme parks is to buy them online. Today, many locals sell their annual passes or FL resident park hopper tickets for much cheaper than face value, on sites such as: craigslist, ebay, and even amazon. Doing research, and shopping around, and finding online deals for tickets will be the best way to save on them if you are on a budget.

As far as dining out. Most restaurants know that the majority of people coming to their facility are tourists. Therefore, they will give hotels certain discount rates, which will be passed onto you, the consumer. So, when booking a hotel, make sure to ask what package deals, and what discounts you will get for staying with that resort.

Another major tourist attraction are outlet malls. Just in the Kissimmee (Orlando) region, there are approximately five outlet malls within 10 miles of each other. All offer great discounts, and shoppers should make sure to visit all of them to find the best deals.

Lastly, don’t fall for tourist traps like the timeshare deals, and places claiming to give free tickets to parks. This is the biggest waste of time, and in many cases, you will be tricked into buying something you don’t want.
